Hi. Just in case you landed here too early but need a reliable seizure alert app, come back again soon.

App is developed and tested.

THE STORY

It was a painfull experience. His eyes went up, his head went down. Briefly.

Then again. And again. For minutes.

Atypical absence seizures. Changing in their appearance for the last 16 years with long happy years of none (and no meds either then).

We've tried many things and found out what works and sometimes just isn't enough. But that's a long story that will be published here in the near future.

Generalized seizures (grand-mal)

The thing is, a few times he has experienced generalized seizures. During sleep.

Perhaps more times and we couldn't know as parents sleeping in the next room. Even though our doors were open just to make sure we could.

Seizure detecting apps?

I love information technology. So I was wondering. Is there anything that could help out?

There is. Like OpenSeizureDetector. Free, open source. Fantastic.

Except it's complicated and crashes. Because one developer cannot sustain such app for long time for free.

It is simply impossible. I know, I'm in IT for 30+ years.

And there are others, paid. But awfully expensive or awfully government-projects-developed projects that will collapse once the money is out.

That's why I've built the app and supporting system that tries something else.
